Making Money Online - What's the Easiest Method?

The global economy is in complete turmoil and the cost of living is going up every month. There's talk of recession everywhere we look and it's becoming harder and harder to maintain your current standard of living and quality of life. It's more important now than ever before to think about alternative ways of boosting your income.

If you have a computer and access to the internet there's literally a whole world of money making opportunities at your finger tips. However, where on earth do you start? The two best bits if advice that I can give you are learn by the mistakes of others and don't reinvent the wheel.

When I started off I made one big mistake. I didn't realise what a competitive place the internet is. My first online project was setting up an online shop. I decided to focus on something general to give me a broad customer base - I selected the gifts niche. Due to other commitments I also decided that I didn't want to hold stock and manage dispatches, so I decided to use a dropshipper. It was a complete disaster. I couldn't compete with the larger, more established ecommerce sites in terms of the variety or quality of my products. The cost of promoting my website in such a competitive market was huge. I also couldn't compete on price as profit margins when you go down the dropshipper route are tiny.

After this and many other disasters I decided that if you can't beat them, join them. This is one of the decisions that changed by life and led me in the direction of affiliate marketing - selling other people's products in return for a commission. This has many advantages. There's no significant investment upfront, there's a huge variety of products that you can sell and it is very easy to start making moderate profits in a very short space of time.

The other mistake which I made was reinventing the wheel - trying to develop my own methods when it has all be done before. The best way to succeed is to establish what has worked for others and copy them. How do you do that? There are many blueprints out there that you can purchase which give specific and detailed advice on what has worked for others. If you purchase a blueprint, you can copy the methods directly and achieve success in a very small space of time. Although not all projects will be a success, you will find many that are and the rewards can be quite substantial.

The biggest challenge of all is finding high quality blueprints. Most that you can purchase over the net are insufficiently detailed and can be about as helpful as a chocolate teapot! Some however are complete and utter goldmines. Some of the best blueprints that I have found tell you exactly what products to sell, exactly where to find them, precisely how to sell them and provide details of how to drive traffic to your offer.
